Samklef, a controversial producer who is now a blogger, has applauded Igbos for reportedly turning away from the ongoing national demonstration against poor leadership.
A diverse group of Nigerians staged a statewide protest on Thursday in response to the extreme poverty that exists in the nation.
Samklef said it was a positive trend, making reference to claims in some media outlets that the protest was boycotted in the South-East, which is dominated by Igbo people.
He declared that the protest should continue by the powerful tribes.
He wrote on his X account, “God bless my Igbo people for shunning the protest. Let the tribes in power carry their cross.”
