I was rap3d by my uncle at 15 – Reality TV star, Toyin Lawani

Fashion stylist turned reality star Toyin Lawani, has revealed she was raped by her uncle at the age of 15.

Toyin Lawani made this known during her interview with Chude Jideonwo published on Sunday.

She said: “I got raped by my uncle when I was 15-years and I had to go to my grandmother’s place in Ibadan. I didn’t tell my mother but had to tell one of my aunties. My mum was so disappointed and hurt. She could not take it.”

“I lost my innocence at a very young age and I hated my mum so much for it because she wasn’t there for me; she was always at work it traumatised me but now I understand,” she said.

The 40-year-old is married to Segun Wealth.

They welcomed their first child together in August 2021.

Toyin has two other children Tiannah and Tenola from her previous relationships.
