King EmDee Biography and profile
George Mathew popularly known by his music stage name “King EmDee” , one of Borno State most intellectual Singer and Blogger; From Azigbo, Nnewi south Anambra state, Was born to the family of Mr Mathew Umeaniba, in the year 2001, 30th September, Maiduguri, Borno state.
He attended his primary school the year 2006 to 2012 at Our lady’s primary st Patrick’s at maiduguri, Borno state Attended his secondary and senior secondary school at St Joseph seminary Awka-Etiti Anambra state and Federal Government college maiduguri, graduated 2019.
King EmDee
Started his music journey while at seminary at his jss1 level, when he started learning to play music instruments like Guitar, piano, flute.
Although at his early music stage his parents only knew he was an instrumentalist at church band and bought him a Guitar which he used to write songs, but they didn’t know he was into music because he was doing it in a solo.
He got his name “EmDee” while at his ss2 his school mates noticed his talent and love for music and begun to call him “MD” Which means “Music Director” then later styled it to EmDee.
INSPIRATION/ROLE MODEL
He got inspired to do music by listening to songs of Kidi and Mayorkun. EmDee started getting recognition when he released his second single which he titled “Perfect” which was accepted and loved by many, which is an Afro song.
As time went on he got a record deal with “TIMG Nation” under DY records. But left the crew due to some issues, and he’s an independent artist now.
